Toshiba has recently launched a DVD player with 1080p upscaling Upconvert suppossed is better than any other market.I EXD understand that the new Toshiba DVD players) have not (by any stretch of the imagination to compare bluray.I many "normal dvds.Do "Do not buy with my entire library.

My question is, will EXD Upconversion Toshiba DVD player ( "normal") DVD better than Blu-ray?

  1. Not possible. 480 lines, compared to the 1080 is only just beginning. When converting from 480 to 1080, only data from 480 of these lines, no matter what is fantasy.

  3. TV up-converts standard definition for what they pay for something they do a better job recently launched a feature that you already have.

    I suspect that in reality could not tell a difference when you have a side comparisons of Toshiba DVD player with a BluRay drive.

    Please note that 480 was developed to fill a television tube to nine inches. There are only so many "fill in the gaps" of the electronics can do. And most of the objects to the conversion of these causes.

    I've got a lot of standard definition on my Blu-ray DVD player and it looks good. (Much better than standard def Fox Soccer Channel).

    I go with a Blu-Ray drive before it considers a high-up-converting player. It is likely that a $ 180 Samsung BluRay player opens the door to real HD movies in the future, and are equipped with the standard DVD in order.
